What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?

We’ve been working on our publication and platform for almost a decade because we deeply believe that the world will be a far more empathetic and collaborative place if we all had the ability to know each other’s stories.  The past decade has brought unimaginable challenges along the way, but we persevere because we believe this is mission worth never giving up on.  We often are inspired by the folks we’ve featured and their commitment to their respective missions and so we asked some of them to talk to us about this very topic and have share some responses below.

Harley Bell

I’ll always be committed to self-improvement. For the rest of my life, I will do what I can to continue to grow as a person. There are many ways I consistently prioritize this goal: support the people around me, constantly learn, try new things, be open-minded, push myself out of my comfort zone, meditate and reflect, and always be grateful for what I have. Dr. Meredith Moran LMHC, CCTP

I am deeply committed to improving the mental wellness of first responders. A pervasive culture, particularly within law enforcement, encourages suppressing emotions and avoids discussing challenges. This harmful dynamic has tragically resulted in over 985 suicides since 2020. I am dedicated to effecting positive change through my private practice, and clinical work. Read more>>

Awakening

One belief we’re committed to — no matter how long it takes — is the truth of salvation through Jesus Christ alone. We are unapologetically rooted in the Oneness Pentecostal faith, believing in the full identity of Jesus as the one true God manifested in flesh, and the power of His name in salvation, baptism, and transformation.
