Small Business of the Day: Conversations with Natalie Rosado of Tampa Counseling Place

Today’s Small Business of the Day features an interview with Natalie Rosado. Please find our conversation below.

We’re thrilled to have the chance to ask you some fun questions today, but before we get started, can you introduce Tampa Counseling Place, LLC to our readers.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, recognizing the heightened need for mental health services in the Tampa Bay Area, I founded a mental health practice with a focus on accessibility and inclusivity. Opting to accept insurance as a group practice, I aimed to blend the private feel of individual therapy with the accessibility associated with community centers or agencies.

What is the most important lesson you’ve learned building your business that you can share with those just starting out in their entrepreneurial journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned in building my business is the power of meaningful connections. It’s crucial to find and stay connected with a mentor who is a few steps ahead of you, someone you admire and aspire to emulate. Their guidance and experience can significantly accelerate your entrepreneurial growth. Equally important, however, is to always have one or two people you are mentoring. While your mentor helps you grow entrepreneurially, it is through your connections with mentees that your character is shaped and strengthened. Balancing these relationships creates a dynamic cycle of learning, growth, and personal development.

Alright, before we go, let’s do a quick lightning round.
