Story & Lesson Highlights with Zuzia Pasierbek of Fort Myers

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Zuzia Pasierbek. Check out our conversation below.

Zuzia, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. Would YOU hire you? Why or why not?
I would definitely hire myself for many reasons. For one I have a very strong work ethic, I am determined and there is no job too big or too small for me. I lead with love and kindness always, so I spread positivity anywhere I go. I like to learn people to make sure I can always make a difference in someone’s life because that is truly what life is all about to me.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
So currently I am about to graduate nursing school to get my RN license. Aside from that I have stayed consistent with creating content and working with various brands on TikTok. In addition to all of that I have also been working part time as a nanny for children on the spectrum. My main goal is to be a pediatric nurse while still working on TikTok to create a full time career as a content creator. My brand mainly focuses on fashion, beauty, and lifestyle content. I love keeping my followers up to date on all of the latest trends and sharing some of my favorite products with the world! My nursing dream was sparked when my father got diagnosed with terminal cancer and was given 3 months to live. The nurses that he had did not deliver the best care so I had to step up. I left my life in Florida for those 3 months and moved back to Chicago to be his full time caregiver. This is when I knew I loved caring for others and I knew I wanted to be the kind of nurse I wish my dad had during his final moments. Everyone deserves the best possible care during a time of fright and anxiety which is why I decide to get my nursing degree and make a difference,

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
Losing my dad at 23 years old was never something I expected to happen. I grew up watching a lot of movies where children lost their parents early on and I never thought it would happen to me. It was my biggest fear but it helped me find my calling to nursing and shaped me to be who I am today. It has really given me a huge perspective on life because we really don’t know how much time we have on this earth and you really never know what someone is going through. That is why I always do my best to lead with love and kindness because one small act can make a huge difference for someone who is struggling.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
It may seem typical but I would tell her to live her life exactly the way she wants despite what others may say or think. People are always going to have something to say and life is way too short and precious to get hung up on other people’s opinions of YOUR life. So wear the “silly” outfit, put yourself out there, take risks, and choose yourself always.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I am very committed to my content creation journey. It has taken a lot of time and stress to get to where I am today. Despite not being remotely close to where I’d like to be I know I will not give up. I’ve had my sights set on this for 2-3 years now, One of the people I highly look up to in this industry is Alix Earle. I think she is such a hardworking individual and the thing I admire most about her is how authentic she is with her audience. She always does her best to keep it real which is so important because a lot of people get lost in social media and try to pertain this fake standard which is not something that I believe in. Being your true self is my top priority.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I am surrounded by my family and friends. They are the most important people in my life and I think who you surround yourself with in life has a HUGE impact on your mood and mental health. I have a small circle of genuine friends that feed my soul and just make every moment a happy one. My mom is my absolute best friend and anytime I’m with her all my problems fade away and life just feels a little bit easier.
