Hi Lashunda, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
My career in the music industry is being revived and I couldn’t be more proud of myself for continuing to pursue my dreams as I age with grace. I have embraced a self love and healing journey and it feels so good to focus on myself and make my wildest desires come true, when it comes to successful business ventures. I have come to learn that self love is the highest vibration, the greatest love of all.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I was initially contacted about my lawn care business, which we just underwent a new name change. The business is now called Simply Majestic Lawn Care & Home Improvement. We provide lawn care and old school clean up services for properties, such as hand weeding and hand leaf raking. We have also expanded into home improvement, where we offer remodeling services for the inside & outside of the home.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
My spirituality has shaped the way I see the world currently. I understand how karma works in reaping what you sow and so now my focus is mainly on myself at this time. I have learned that you cannot pour from an empty glass and that you have to protect your good energy and peace at all costs, because they are both truly gifts from God.
I was given the opportunity to live in a tent on a beach for 2 years, doing primitive camping, where I had no electricity or running water. I had to gather wood to cook and use the beach water to wash my clothes. I was truly able to tap in and get back in tuned with mother nature. I lived in peace, an unspeakable peace. It was extremely refreshing to my soul and was an experience that I needed at that time. It was a turning point in my life and I learned how important gratitude is in order for one to have a true sense of stability, in all aspects of life, mentally, physically, emotionally, even spiritually. I learned how to be grateful. It was amazing time and has changed my life tremendously.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering has inspired me to go within and realize my self-worth. I learned how to accept myself. I learned how to love myself and be grateful for the basics of life, such as food, water, shelter, and good health. Through my suffering I now know my strength. Through my suffering I have more wisdom, more knowledge, more understanding of this 3D reality and how to maneuver through it, in order to reach my full potential. Through my suffering, my daily affirmation is “I LOVE MYSELF”.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
My solo career in the music world is a conscious one, where I push self-love, self-awareness, and self-acceptance. I have come to learn that I was created to create a whole new world because indeed, no one is coming to do it for us and no one is coming to save us, so we’re all we got.
I have taken my place in the music world and am reigniting my career. The world needs a musical revival and I’m looking forward to leading the way and partnering with like minds to bring forth restoration and unconditional love back in the earth. We got this!
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace in nature. The healing of our heart, mind, body, and soul depends on how much we spend in nature and how much sunlight we get each and every day. Owning a lawn care company is not just a business for me. It’s my passion and I get all the sunlight and nature a girl could ask for. I’m grateful for my life and truly have no regrets.
