Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Chelsea was my wedding coordinator in 2024, and together we spent the year planning a picture-perfect, truly exceptional celebration. Throughout the process, we discovered how well we worked together—our styles and strengths complemented each other perfectly.
On the day of my wedding in November 2024, I jokingly asked Chelsea what we were going to do now that my big day was over. Without missing a beat, she replied, “Do you want to go into business together?” That spontaneous moment sparked a new chapter for both of us.
Just a month later, we purchased our first mobile bar, and within two months, our business was up and running.
Today, at Horseshoe Tavern, we’re dedicated to bringing every client’s vision to life, combining creativity, precision, and a touch of magic—just like we did for my wedding. Our partnership is built on trust, passion, and a shared commitment to creating unforgettable experiences for every event.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Overall, it’s been a relatively smooth road getting our business up and running and spreading the word about what we offer. The biggest challenge has been standing out in a crowded market and showcasing our expertise to brides, grooms, and event planners. Once people meet us and see our passion and attention to detail firsthand, they’re sold, but getting those initial introductions can be tough.
Right now, we rely heavily on word-of-mouth referrals, which has been incredibly valuable for us. Still, building a business solely on word of mouth can be challenging, especially as a small business. We’re always exploring what works, whether it’s building relationships with local vendors, engaging on social media, or finding creative ways to connect with potential clients. For us, authenticity, personal connections, and consistently delivering exceptional experiences are key ingredients to growing our business and making a lasting impression.
