Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Last year my family moved to Florida to be around my son and I. We all wanted to invest in something that could grow into something that could not only help our family for generations to come but also grow into a community helping to make a difference one person at a time. I was fortunate enough to find Beach Blast Rentals on a business listing for sale. I couldn’t believe the business was failing. The concept was great and in a very busy area. I was lucky enough to negotiate the “Business” and we purchased 12/27/2019. We reopened mid January and a month and a half later, Covid hits…It has been an adventure but we continue to push and have successfully turned a once failing business into a profitable one. We strive on service and have been able to achieve over a 100 genuine 5-star google ratings in less than four months of operations. We are more than a business, we are a purpose.
What I mean about that is, I founded a charity called The Reset Foundation (www.TheResetFoundation.Life) My goal is to make this foundation exist and a part of everything I do goes to the Foundation. My goal is to make it nationally known in three years because as you research, you will agree it simply needs to exist! My first Florida Business is The Reset Mirrors (www.TheResetMirrors.com) That was developed to be a big source of income for the foundation. Unfortunately due to covid we lost all our reservations this year. It is something we have to bring back as Covid gets eliminated and people gather again. About me personally, I grew up in a small little town in Colorado called Cripple Creek. I graduated with a class of only 16. I was a small-town kid that knew I was meant for bigger things. I have traveled all over the western United States trying to find my place. I am jack of a lot of trades. I have never been afraid to try new things and take risks to achieve my goals and dreams. I’m a guy that doesn’t stop believing and believe you can achieve anything you want! I believe in leading by example and treat everyone like friends and family. We are family-owned and operated with a mission to make a serious change while providing the most fun we can! There are many ways to do things, I am here to show a unique but effective way. It’s all about what drives you!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Definitely nothing smooth starting a new business. Especially with Covid this year. We have learned to adapt and overcome not only with covid but the learning phases of a new business.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I have always been an entrepreneur at heart since I can remember. I am a jack of all trades and have tried to experience as much as I can. I have been a laborer at a rock quarry, real estate sales, marketing, a sergeant at a prison, done retail at a large box store, owning my own businesses, and so much more! I specialize in marketing, sales, training, motivator, and outside the box strategies. I am proud of my foundation and the direction I have been fighting so hard to create; start coming to fruition. What sets me apart from others is actions! I do what I say I am going to do and I will make sure I am one of the best at it. I don’t give up and persevere through any situation. I have a way of calming and reaching people in a way I can’t explain enough. I’m not driven by money but by the impacts we can create to make this place better than when we came into it! I believe we can and will make a positive change.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
My son is my number one happiness. He is the reason I fight so hard to do what I do. I love being that positive force for my son and others. It gives me great joy to help others succeed as well as make people laugh and feel like they have known me forever. I am all about the impacts we make on each person we come across. Building this family empire; even though I work 24/7 now, brings me happiness knowing the results are based off the hard work I put in and no one can stop that! My Foundation and its purpose with the possibilities of what it can do is extremely motivating.
