Today we’d like to introduce you to Noelle Costar.
Hi Noelle, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. The oldest of three girls, mom was a cosmetologist and dad a doctor, my childhood was pretty normal. Um….. with the exception that I occasionally saw dead people walking about like holograms! Around six, that stopped, but the vivid psychic dreams continued. Dreaming has always been a bridge to connect me to a non physical world that I knew to be REAL in some way. I was always very “SENSITIVE” and seemed to be quite the hypochondriac (according to my parents) because I would have sudden aches and pains or think I was dying because I couldn’t breathe. Little did I know I was just an Empath and Medium. When I was 21, I moved to England and opened a day spa. Without all the judgment of family and religious constraints of my youth, I was able to begin my study of all things metaphysical. When I sold my day spa at 26, I knew that I was ready to serve women more as a spiritual advisor instead of the role I had been playing. When I returned to the States, I enrolled at the College of Metaphysics. That year I became attuned to Reiki. It was challenging to begin this business. Unlike a day spa, it wasn’t an accepted mainstream business. I had to learn a lot more about standing in my own truth. Now, I have 11 years of practicing as an alternative healer, crystal therapist, psychic and medium. I have helped hundreds of clients, and I’m excited about helping more women lead more peaceful, empowered lives.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Building this business hasn’t been as financially challenging or as stressful as opening and running my day spa was. It has been very humbling to have so many people trust me and bear witness to their vulnerability. My biggest challenge has been to trust Spirit and share my gifts. People in my social circles, in the beginning, had plenty to say about me potentially opening up the doors to darkness with Tarot cards and crystals. My husband and I had a joint MLM business for the first five years, and a lot of our business associates were very Christian. It was very uncomfortable learning how to speak about what I do, but I am so thankful for that time in my life because it helped me gain the confidence to share with authority about what I do. I also learned how to be a bridge builder to the light.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an Alternative Healer and Spiritual Advisor. This encompasses a bunch of different modalities, but after surveying lots of my clients over the years, the number one thing that I do is help people with anxiety. People come to me for all different reasons, but I would say stress, grief, health challenges, and looking for clarity are the top reasons. When someone comes for a Rapid Refuel session with me, I read their chakras. These are your seven main energy centers, and they will give tremendous insight into what is happening in your body and life. Then I have preselected crystals that I place around and on the body. Then for about an hour, I channel energy while placing my hands in various positions around and on the body. I may use sound bowls, chimes, and other psychic and energy medicine techniques to bring them into harmony. After the session, we chat about the experience and I recommend homework. It is a very relaxing and uplifting experience. Many people come for readings also. During a reading, I may channel loved ones that have crossed over and messages from angels and guides. I have been reading tarot cards for 22 years now and it is still a huge part of what I do. My passion these days is in teaching and empowering more women to embrace their gifts and shine their light. I will be teaching Tarot Time, Intuitive Me and Reiki zoom classes in the new year. There is no better time to start understanding that you are a spiritual being in a body and how to use your unique gifts to expand your life.
I am most proud of my marriage. After a very unhappy previous 8 year marriage, I can tell you how learning to collaborate and fully embrace LOVE has radically changed my life. It is a dream come true to have a home unit that is supportive and uplifting, but it’s not without challenges and that’s what makes the peace and stability that we abide in that much sweeter. We just happily celebrated 13 years together with our two beautiful kids.
