Rising Stars: Meet NAYELI of Port Richey

Today we’d like to introduce you to NAYELI.

Hi NAYELI, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
We officially meet when we worked together at Burlington when we 18 and 19 years old we knew each other back when we were in high school we became friends and became inseparable. Once we started getting closer going out together all the time going to the park getting ice cream together. Going on adventures we started to fall in love but i was hesitant at first due to this day and age most people just look for hook ups or just a simple fling. He asked me for months before I said yes. It was 12/24/21 we both were working that Christmas even at her job, we had a dress up Christmas theme so me and one of our friends were dressed up as Mr. Mrs. Claus and he was one of the elves so I spoke with my friend to get some advice and he told me that I should just give him a chance with the worst thing that can happen it not work out everyone’s human and you can just move on so I gave in and I told my fiancé yes I will date him his face little and he hear the biggest smile I’ve ever seen anyone have and kiss me but then we traumatize a lot of kids when Mrs. Claus kissed the elf and then our friend didn’t help when saying Mrs. Claus is cheating on Santana 😂 and we’ve been together going on four years. We’ve had lots of ups and downs and a lot of things we have survived. I never thought I could find love in this generation and we have a long wonderful story and would love to be shared with more details

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
it hasn’t always been an easy road being in a relationship we were still young and having to learn to confide and trust each other.

I got hurt off a bike accident and hurt my face broke two teeth couldn’t walk I didn’t feel pretty any more he struck by me feeding me by hand, took him almost 2 hours to feed me a day because I couldn’t really eat due to my incident in my injuries. I couldn’t walk he would help me to the bathroom and this was all tourist beginning of our relationship. he didn’t leave me when it got tough. He showed me that he was stuck by me no matter what..

Another day we had to survive is when he had to leave for a couple of months back to Wisconsin due to some family issues and for five months we had to learn to trust and confide and learn to love each other from a distance. It was very hard not seeing the other person, not be able to talk to them not be able to do much but hope that they’re doing right by you and that’s a big deal long distance relationships don’t last, but we were able to overcome that situation

I lost my home due to an unfortunate circumstance with the landlord, trying to sell the house underneath us when we were on a month-to-month lease when our lease was up, he did an illegal eviction, and he still stuck by me always made sure that I was taken care of my family was OK He literally was my superhero.

I do have a couple medical conditions that hinder me sometimes and he has come with me to my doctor appointments understanding what medications I need to take use any of my medical devices. It’s not always easy dealing with someone who is in and out of the hospital all the time, and someone who suffers from mental health conditions, and having to learn to understand Them and understand the times that I’m going through an episode. It does take a toll on someone, but he is very strong for having to put up with me and wanting to put up with me because he loves me.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I had a hard life moved around a lot. My biological father wasn’t there at all, but my stepfather raised me as his own my whole entire life since I was one, and my brother was about 6-7 months old. He gave me my two younger siblings. I go to multiple different schools. I was bullied and sexually harassed a lot through my school years when I was young younger. started working soon as I could at the age of 16 to help provide for my family. We lost our home due to a hurricane we live in a hotel for two years then we got a home and then lost at home again and back living at a hotel to now being able to live in an apartment, which is a big deal for all the struggles I went through. There’s more to my story, but at least this will give you an idea of my up
