Today we’d like to introduce you to Lia Menna Gross.
Hi Lia, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
It all started when I became a mom.
Being a mom cracked open my heart. Not only did I perceive the world in a new way, my perception of myself completely changed. I decided to leave behind the corporate world, the overflowing social calendar, and the incessant drive for “more” for a different lifestyle.
I didn’t know what I was searching for. But I was determined to find it. That’s when I discovered feng shui.
And it came just at the right time. I had experienced one personal hiccup after the other. I didn’t know how to dig myself out from what felt like the world crumbling down on top of me. I began implementing feng shui practices and the rest is history.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. However, the rocky road I endured led to the creation of my 8-week program, The Feng Shui Prescription.
I went from one loss after another, to finding fulfillment, peace and stability.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I guide women to personal transformation by harnessing the magic of home…one room at a time.
I’m most proud of my 8-week program, The Feng Shui Prescription™. It was a true labor of love that evolved from my own need to let go of the old story of who I was and create a home that reflected who I desired to become.
It’s a virtual, intimate group setting for women to come together in community, let go and make space in their homes (and lives!) to move on to next chapter of their individual stories.
I try my best to find the good in everything. I believe that pain is a beautiful gift that can be turned into power. Feng shui is all about shifting perspective and seeing your home (and life) through a fresh set of eyes. When life gives you lemons, feng shui them!
What do you like and dislike about the city?
Being a native has been a beautiful experience. Seeing how Tampa Bay has gone from what it was when I was a kid to a blossoming metropolis with an ever-growing skyline is pretty amazing.
My husband and I are huge foodies. We love the variety of restaurants – food eating is my love language!
