Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabriella Primo.
Gabriella, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
We have been in business in the Tampa area since 2016. At first we started doing just events, we’d go make cotton candy at birthdays, weddings, baby showers, schools, churches, etc… Slowly and consistently we’ve been growing ever since. We opened our first fisical location as a Kiosk at the Tampa Outlet. From there we moved to a pop up shop in Hyde park for a few months. After that we had a small store on Memorial Highway and from there we moved to where we are now at our best amd biggest location on Waters Ave. This store came out exactly how i dreamed and pictured in my mind, its a literally a pink cotton candy palace and im so proud of the path that got us here.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Im super forntunate and glad to say everything has been sweet and of consistent growth. Guess that means we’re probably doing things right.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
A gourmet cotton candy store! We have over 40 flavors of cotton candy from desert ones like cookies & cream, cheesecake, apple pie, birthday cake, etc… to fruity ones like Mango, Strawberry, Grape, Banana, etc… to weird flavors like bacon and pickle, etc… All our cotton candy is allergy-free, dye-free, preservative-free, so everybody can enjoy! We have a fisical location where you can come get cotton candy and even learn to make your own!! And we also do all sorts events like birthday parties, weddings, baby showers, schools, coorperate, churches, etc… where we go and make the cotton candy live on site.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up i was never sure what i wanted to do, i was that kid that wanted to do and be everything. My dad was always an entrepenuer since before i was born, so i grew up watching him struggle and constantly have to close and open new businesses. My mom started her business when i was already 13 years old and hers was a huge success with consistant growth. I think growing up and watching both of theirs experience taught me a lot. And im so lucky to have both of them so willing and excited to help me grow my business now.
