Today we’d like to introduce you to Courtney Petty.
Hi Courtney, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
TezzyPooh’s Ice Cream Truck was born out of a desire to teach my 5-year-old son, Courtez (nicknamed TezzyPooh), about entrepreneurship. Inspired by his love for the color green, the entire brand revolves around him. After successfully operating for four years in Atlanta, GA, we expanded to Cape Coral, FL, where my father manages the ice cream cart and handles all Florida bookings.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No business journey is smooth. We’ve faced challenges, including losses from melted ice cream. Despite these hurdles, it’s been a great business to start.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
TezzyPooh’s Ice Cream Truck LLC is a mobile ice cream and dessert truck, delivering smiles to both kids and adults. We also have a fundraiser program where we donate a percentage of our sales back to local schools.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success, is the achievement of your own personal goal or value. When you set goals for yourself and you accomplish them then you’re successful. Everyone goals are different.
