Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My wife and I moved down here to Florida in March of 2024 because she received a job promotion. After we arrived, I struggled to find a job that i was happy at. I have a strong work history in construction but I did not want to continue that career path in Florida. It has always been a dream of mine to be a small business owner, so with an abundance of faith and personal drive, I decided to get into the power washing industry. It’s crazy to think that I started a business in a city and state that I knew nothing about with very limited capital and even less knowledge about the pressure washing industry, yet here i am the owner and operator of a small pressure washing company. Success for me is measured by my level of self fulfillment and my ability to provide for my family. Using the hard work and dedication instilled in me by my military service, my faith in God, and a loving and supportive wife, I am living my dream. I have made numerous mistakes in this industry, but moreover, I have learned from them. I have found that using the old adage of an honest days work for an honest days pay will propel you to personal and professional freedom and success.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No it has not been a smooth road. Some of the challenges have been navigating Florida’s weather systems, not knowing anyone down here personally, learning how to be a small business owner and learning about the pressure washing industry.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As a small pressure washing company, we specialize in any building exterior pressure washing service. From roofs to concrete, paver sealing to window washing and even storm shutter installation and removal, we do it all. I am known personally for my outgoing personality and being able to make friends anywhere I go. Professionally, I am known for my quality of work and my high level of customer service. I take great pride in giving a level of customer service second to none. I truly enjoy working with my customers, walking them around their building and seeing how happy they are with the quality of my work. I believe what sets us apart from other companies is giving back to our community. From helping a customer move, to doing small repairs on their home, I try to give back and help where it is needed.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
My drive to succeed and my integrity are the two most important characteristics I possess as a small business owner. As a small business owner, I am the sales department, the HR department, accounting, payroll and the CEO. Wearing all of those hats takes a level of drive and dedication like none other. Being honest with customers and business associates alike, is paramount to the successful operation and prosperity of any business.
