Today we’d like to introduce you to Michele Hohman.
Hi Michele, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I graduated with an Interior Design / Bachelor of Science degree from the Architectural School of the University of Georgia. I have since ran my Interior Design Firm spanning from Nashville, Tn, to Atlanta, GA, now to the greater Tampa Bay Area. I do both residential and Commercial Interior Design. I have worked with a very famous Architect in Nashville, Tn, to several large builders, to several custom cabinet companies designing all the cabinets for their clients.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I started my design work in the commercial side of design and it felt very sterile and not what I expected. I absolutely love people, designing, and love helping home owners create their dream living space. Residential design is me to a T.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I have an innate connection to colors and designing. I can actually “feel” when a design is going to be right or not right. It’s as if I was born to do this for a living. I love creating and can’t imagine me doing anything else.
What’s next?
I plan on staying in the Interior Design business for a very long time.
