Today we’d like to introduce you to Jonathan Young.
Hi Jonathan, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I’d say my life really started when I went to my first ever music festival in Miami called Ultra Music Festival back in 2004 I was only 14 I felt right at home like I had been there before and so it began.
I started meeting the production crew, stage handlers, and DJs. I was already learning the back end of the industry growing up with a lot of knowledge that was handed down to me by my Mother who was an actress in her native country of Colombia.
So yes, that makes me Colombian and Scottish as my father is from Edinburgh, Scotland. Nowadays I run a production company and I DJ throughout south and central Florida throwing events here and there and meeting new people left and right.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’d say some of the struggles would be getting people to actually come out to the events that I put on or having fans come out to wherever I am playing.

Lit Dripp Productions which was previously known as Luxuriously lit tours Miami LLC has since rebranded at the beginning of 2023 to cater to the Music industry, private parties, corporate parties, etc… where we provide Turntable rentals, Speaker rentals, lighting, lasers, trusses, etc… rentals, any style of DJ you would like and so on, we can do small events or large events, club events or full on camping festivals with vendors and food trucks.

- $350 for 8-hour rental for XDJ-XZ Gold rental with delivery and set up
- $200 for 4 hours rental for XDJ – XZ Gold rental with delivery and set up
- $2,000 DJ with full lighting, lasers, sound, and 4 hours of play
- $4,000 2 DJs with full lighting, lasers, sound, and 8 hours of play
