Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Safari
Hi Hannah, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey to where I am today began roughly 6 years ago. I had just gotten back from living in Melbourne, Australia for a year and was in the process of pursuing a career as a chef. I ended up breaking my ankle playing volleyball which took me off my feet for about 6 months making it hard to stand in a kitchen for 12+ hours. After my ankle surgery, I decided to get my real estate license and within a couple years, successfully helped 30+ clients buy or sell homes in Boulder and Denver, Colorado. I decided to expand my business to Tampa and St Pete in 2022 and take advantage of the warm weather year round! Plus, my favorite animal is the manatee and this is their hot spot! The overlap between the two markets has given me valuable insights into seasonal and investment-driven real estate trends. Meeting new clients and diving into the unique aspects of Florida’s market has been an exciting journey, broadening my expertise and helping me grow my network.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As a solo entrepreneur, there are always going to be ups and downs and that has definitely been the case with my real estate career. In the beginning, my client base was relatively small, meaning I was working long days, 7 days a week and wasn’t making any money. I ended up picking up a second job as a barista just to make some extra cash, which got me by until I started closing deals consistently. Beyond that, each real estate transaction has its struggles, but ultimately I learn so much from each of these road bumps, that I wouldn’t want it any other way. My job is to make it feel like everything in the transaction is running smoothly on the surface even if underneath it all, I’m putting out fires left and right!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
What I’m most known for may not be real estate related, but if you hang around me long enough, you’ll soon realize that I love to dance, cook, and cannot contain my excitement around manatees or tiny pigs. When it comes to business, people know me for my easy going personality, strong negotiating skills, and overall organization and management. I’m great at scheduling and getting tasks done for my clients which makes everyone’s lives easier in the end. I am most proud of the compliments that I receive from clients once we’ve gone through a real estate transaction together. Even the most seasoned clients, who have worked with agents all over the country, would agree that my service is 5 star and I go above and beyond in every way I can. I choose to surround myself with like-minded people which helps me be the best I can for my clients and friends.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is spending time with the people I love and manatees, of course! One of my favorite things about my job is that it allows me to travel and work from anywhere in the world. With this freedom, I can curate my schedule so I have plenty of time to spend with friends and family, and my dog! It truly is the little things in life that make it worth it including big belly laughs, yummy food, and lots of cuddles!
