Meet Christina Strong of Tampa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Strong.

Christina , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started taking photos in 7th grade when I was given a digital camera. I started taking tons of photos of people, animals, and landscapes. By 18 I bought a 35mm film camera and continued to take tons of photos. I stopped for a few years and when my son was born I started taking so so many and finally bought a semi pro digital camera. A family hired me to take family photos. From there I started charging for families and weddings. Soon I was hired by Airbnb and I slowly converted over to full time interiors. I’m now taking photos for vacation rentals, contractors, designers, hotels, and real estate agents. I also do branding photos.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Yes and no. It wasn’t until I went full time with interiors that my buisness took off. I’m now traveling around the country photographing hotels and when I’m home I’m running my business in florida.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I love my job. I love all kinds of arts and crafts and take my work seriously. Sometimes I obsess over my projects.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Family, work, travel, water.
