Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Isennock.
Hi Brandon, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I graduated from the Florida College of Natural Health in Sarasota, Florida, in 2003 with an Associate of Science degree in Paramedical Skincare and became a licensed Medical Aesthetician. My passion for skincare began years earlier through my chosen godmother, who owned one of the first day spas in Towson, Maryland, where I spent my childhood. Watching her help people feel confident inspired me to pursue a career in aesthetics.
After graduation, life took me in a different direction. I met my husband, and together we’ve raised two wonderful daughters amd now two amazing granddaughters. Supporting my family meant putting my dream on hold for many years, but I never let go of it.
The kids are grown now so I finally took a leap of faith and became the Lead Esthetician at Massage Envy. I later opened Skin by Brandon, gained experience in a medical spa, and ultimately realized my passion was providing personalized, one-on-one care in my own private suite.
Today, I’m proud to be the owner of Skin by Brandon, where helping clients feel confident in their own skin is the most rewarding part of what I do. In 2026, I was honored to be named a Top 3 finalist for Best Facial in the Herald-Tribune Community’s Choice Awards and the Silver Winner for Best Local Esthetician in SRQ Magazine’s Best of SRQ Awards. Looking back, my dream wasn’t delayed—it was simply waiting for the right time.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of the biggest challenges I faced was believing that it wasn’t too late to start over. After earning my degree, life’s responsibilities meant I needed the security of a steady paycheck, so building my dream had to wait. Years later, taking the leap into entrepreneurship was both exciting and intimidating. Like many small business owners, I’ve faced the ups and downs of growing a business, building a loyal clientele, and learning to believe in myself. Looking back, every challenge made me more resilient and grateful for where I am today.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in results-driven yet relaxing skincare treatments that combine advanced technology with a personalized touch. My services include HydraFacial, customized European facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and other advanced treatments designed to improve skin health while giving clients a chance to slow down, relax, and recharge.
What I’m most proud of is creating an experience where every client feels seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. I believe skincare is about more than improving your complexion—it’s about building confidence and helping people feel like the best version of themselves. I never rush appointments, and every treatment is customized to my client’s unique skin concerns, goals, and lifestyle.
What truly sets me apart is the personal connection I build with my clients. When someone walks into my treatment room, they’re not just another appointment—they’re treated like family. My goal is for every person to leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and more confident than when they arrived.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I think there’s room for a little harmless superstition, I might throw salt over my shoulder if I spill it, but I don’t believe success or failure comes down to luck. I believe in hard work, perseverance, and creating your own opportunities. I’m a big believer in manifestation, setting goals, and putting in the effort to make them happen. To me, luck is often what people call the moment when preparation meets opportunity.
