Our story is truly remarkable. My husband and I are both surgeons, and we began our journey by establishing a private practice on the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia. Our vision was simple yet impactful: to provide exceptional care to patients, especially in underserved communities, while maintaining transparent and accessible pricing for everyone.
As our practice grew and flourished, we decided to expand to the Tampa area—a place close to our hearts, as we have many friends here and have visited often over the years. When the opportunity arose, we seized it, opening two offices to better serve the community we love.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Running a private practice is rarely a smooth road, and we’ve certainly faced our share of challenges. The COVID-19 pandemic brought unprecedented difficulties, from navigating lockdowns to adapting our practice to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. Additionally, living and working in areas prone to hurricanes has posed its own set of challenges. These natural disasters not only threaten our business operations but also deeply impact the communities we serve.
Through it all, we’ve remained committed to providing the best care possible, using these obstacles as opportunities to grow stronger and more resilient.
