Allyson, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Naked n Natural officially started in 2014 when a coworker encouraged me to share my knowledge and start to make products. He had just heard me help a fellow coworker who had burned herself. I gave her a combination of carrier oil and essential oil to help soothe her burn. He loved the passion and knowledge that I displayed and he encouraged me to start a business.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No it hasn’t. Marketing and getting the word out. And literal blood sweat and tears.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m known for my skin care products. Body Butters as well as my tinctures.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
The best advice I can give is if you are thinking about starting something, just do it and be okay with knowing that your ideas will change and grow. Be okay with that growth and change.
