Life & Work with Stacey Milholland of Sarasota

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacey Milholland.

Hi Stacey, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
The joke in our house is that it all started with a Cricut. For those who don’t know, that’s a hobby cutting machine — and what began as a fun pastime quickly turned into something much bigger.

At the time, my daughter was a baton twirler, and it was nearly impossible to find fun, personalized gear for that sport. So, with a little help from some other twirler moms, I started sketching designs, making decals, and soon moved on to shirts, blankets — you name it, we tried it.

Eventually, I began bringing my Cricut to family nights at our local Chick-fil-A, cutting out kids’ names to stick on cups, boxes, and anything else we could personalize. That led to in-store projects — like updating hours on the door and creating a large decal featuring the Chick-fil-A Corporate Purpose, which, nearly ten years later, is still proudly displayed in the restaurant.

From there, word spread. Projects for one store turned into projects for many, and before long, our little business was serving Chick-fil-A locations nationwide. Today, our team of four provides specialty print products for nearly 1,000 restaurants.

Beyond Chick-fil-A, we’ve also built a product line of more than 500 faith-based scripture stickers — the heart of what I truly love to create. And most recently, we launched our very first Prayer and Study Journal — a long-awaited project that came together through many steps of faith. We’re so excited to see this valuable tool in the hands of our family, friends, and customers.

God is so good.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like any business, ours has seen its share of challenges and victories. Learning, trying, failing, almost getting it — and finally succeeding — are all part of the process. Family and friends have been essential, offering feedback, encouragement, and wisdom through every step of growth.

About three years ago, my husband faced a series of surgeries and received a life-altering diagnosis that led to an early retirement. Through it all, God has been so faithful. He has exceedingly and abundantly blessed this little print business — we’ve quadrupled our sales in just four years and are on track to make that a fivefold increase by the end of 2025.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a designer and specialty print provider offering custom products such as stickers, decals, and window clings.

We operate two websites:
DesignsByStaceyLynn.com is our wholesale hub, providing budget-friendly stickers for churches and businesses, as well as print materials for quick-service restaurants.

Our newest site, StuckOnFaith.com, features our growing line of faith-based stickers, journaling supplies, and our Walk by Faith Prayer & Study Journal.

You can also find our faith-based sticker collections on Etsy under DesignsbyStaceyLynn, and digital versions of our designs are available at StuckOnFaithStudio on Etsy.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I’m incredibly grateful for how God has made a way for me to align my creative passions and skills with a thriving specialty print company. This business truly reflects Ephesians 3:20 — “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.”
