Hi Jane, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Jane West and Viktor Nikolov are two concert pianists with a passion for teaching the art of piano performance! They are a concert duo (Nikolov-West Duo) that performs extensively and call Tampa their home! The Nikolov West Studio is their teaching studio, with students as young as 4 and some students over 90! Currently located on W Kennedy Blvd, and soon expanding to New Tampa in 2026 —
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
NW Studio works with great partners, and their support is greatly appreciated. The arts involve all: performers, the venues, the patrons, the piano makers, and of course the incredible public that enjoys the art. The road to success is always a balance, and collaboration is key to bringing the best to the table.

International concert pianists (actively performing) who also teach the art of music (dedicated instructors) is a match made in heaven.
With a record of success, with students gaining top scores with the Royal Conservatory of Music and even performing as gold medalists at Carnegie Hall, is a track record of success.
What sets NW Studio apart is that we bring the savoire faire of piano to all students! The joy and participatory approach to learning music from the highest level of professionalism is what generates incredible stories!
