Life & Work with Bri Conway of Viera Florida

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bri Conway.

Hi Bri, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Sweat Haven is the only infrared hot yoga and wellness studio on the Space Coast! Located in the heart of Viera FL- we offer a stunning infrared-heated yoga studio, community contrast therapy space, luxurious amenities, complete wellness boutique and a wide array of authentic yoga classes.

Myself (Bri) and my mom Gretchen share a deep passion for health and wellness. Inspired by the vibrant wellness communities and yoga studios we’ve encountered during our travels, we set out to create something truly special for Brevard County- a space designed to nurture both individual growth and community well-being.

Bri:
At 15, I became passionate about holistic health, wellness, fitness, and yoga. From that point on, I poured my energy into learning, studying, and supporting others on their journeys however I could. After graduating high school, I moved abroad—first to Paris, then Milan—to pursue modeling. But when the 2020 pandemic brought me back home, I realized that while modeling gave me some amazing experiences, it wasn’t truly fulfilling. My original intention going into it had been to inspire young girls to take care of their health, as many look up to models, I wanted to set a healthy example. But I knew I could make a deeper impact by fully aligning with my purpose—helping others on their wellness journeys. Since then, I’ve earned certifications as a Hippocrates Health Educator, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and completed a plant-based nutrition course through eCornell, along with my 200hr yoga teacher training. After moving to Brevard County, I began teaching yoga full-time and have spent the past four years leading group classes, private sessions, and events. For the last year, I’ve also hosted a weekly class out of a dance studio, while quietly building Sweat Haven with my mom (Gretchen).

Gretchen:
Brianna and I have always loved seeking out wellness spaces when we travel. Exploring different healing modalities and learning from wellness experts and doctors who share their knowledge is a passion we both deeply value. Now, we want to bring that same inspiration to Brevard County.
So many people today live in a constant state of fight or flight—it wears them down and weakens the body over time. We’re creating a space where people can slow down, reconnect, and prioritize their well-being. Whether it’s for an hour or two a day, or just a few times a week, taking that time for yourself truly makes a difference.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We began our search for a location in late winter of 2024 and spent months looking. We pursued two different locations- that ultimately didn’t work out. Months went by and we couldn’t find anything else that made sense or felt right. Leaving us feeling discouraged and wondering if we’d ever find the right spot to bring Sweat Haven to life. Then, we stumbled upon what is now home to Sweat Haven. The very first time we visited it, we could envision it so clearly. We just knew it was the place.

The process of acquiring this space took some time- we were constantly on the edge of our seats, eager to move forward. Yet at the same time we felt so much peace that it would. That this was THE space. We constantly received signs – mainly in the form of moons (the name of the apartment complex our space is under means moon!) From moon symbols, an Instagram post from one of my yoga teachers speaking about “dreaming of a world where yoga studios and wellness clubs out number bars..” and a huge moon in the background of his pictures, my mom meeting a lady in the checkout line at the grocery store who was bringing flowers to her friend who just had a baby named Luna- the list goes on! It is absolutely wild how everything aligned, was truly meant to be and all of the signs we received to bring us peace throughout the process.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
We are devoted to creating a space for you to connect with not only yourself, but with others. To build a community that will uplift, enhance, and elevate your life. A place to foster transformational experiences that ultimately lead you home. To your heart. To your soul.

Bri:
My biggest inspiration is my students. To be able to hold space for others to deepen their connection to themselves and prioritize their well-being is such a gift. Their energy, presence, and commitment to their practice is what consistently inspires me to always be intentional in everything I create- offering not just a class, but an experience with the potential for true transformation.

Gretchen:
My biggest inspiration is my children. I want to set a strong example for them—showing what it means to work hard, live with purpose, and help others along the way. Our time here on earth is short, and how we’re remembered should carry meaning. I believe in always turning around to lend a hand and lift others up. That mindset has been a blessing in our own lives, and we’re committed to passing it forward.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
The wellness industry has taken off the past few years and we are SO excited about it! We believe that your health is your greatest investment and that wellness clubs are the new hot spot- whether its for mingling, connection, dating, etc.!
