Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Stephani Blatt of Sarasota

We recently had the chance to connect with Stephani Blatt and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Stephani, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
I actually love this question. Skincare treatments are often seen as something you give as a gift or do purely for pampering — and while they can absolutely be those things, they’re also a form of self-care. They can build confidence by addressing concerns like acne scars or unwanted hair. For me, being an aesthetician is about so much more than occasional indulgence. My business is where pampering meets results, because I believe everyone deserves both.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Stephani Blatt, owner and lead aesthetician at Glow Up Aesthetics in Sarasota, Florida. We specialize in results-driven skincare that still feels like a luxury — because I believe everyone deserves both pampering and real, visible results. From advanced facials to hair removal, every service is designed to build confidence and help our clients feel their absolute best. What sets us apart is our ability to combine a warm, relaxing atmosphere with clinical-grade outcomes. Right now, I’m building a team dedicated to supporting overall health for both body and skin, and we’ll soon be hosting an event to educate clients and introduce our newest team members. I’m truly excited to continue helping our community feel comfortable, confident, and radiant in their own skin

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
Right now, the relationship that’s most changed how I see myself is with my husband, Tristan. I’ve always believed in being independent, but with him, it’s not about needing someone — it’s about choosing someone who truly lifts you up. He reminds me how far I’ve come personally and professionally and has this incredible way of making me actually believe it during moments of doubt. I hope everyone finds that kind of support, whether from a partner, family member, or friend.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Wow, that’s a great question. I’d say suffering taught me lessons that success never could — like humility, patience, and resilience. It showed me that no matter what happens, you have to get back up and find a way to fix your situation because no one else is coming to save you; you have to save yourself. Success feels great, but it’s through suffering that I truly learned how to grow, adapt, and appreciate the small victories along the way.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
I have a deep loyalty to family — it’s something I was raised with and truly value. Alongside that, respect is incredibly important to me in any relationship. Disrespect is my biggest turnoff, and I think anyone close to me would agree that I hold that boundary strongly.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
Wow this is a deep interview! Haha!

In my industry, competition can be intense. Providers are often pitted against one another, and it can sometimes feel like a constant game of telephone. But through it all, my priority has never changed — to stay true to who I am and to the values I was raised with. I want to be remembered as a loyal, genuine ‘girls’ girl’ who supported others, celebrated their wins, and made people feel seen and special, even on their darkest days. At the end of the day, I believe kindness and loyalty will outlast any trend or competition
