We recently had the chance to connect with LaTranette Long and have shared our conversation below.
LaTranette , really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Integrity is most important to me because it is the foundation of how i operate. Without integrity, intelligence and energy has no value or impact for me. Integrity helps determine how i use my intelligence and where i put my energy. It shapes my decisions, leadership, relationships and my self trust.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
What breaks the bond between people is often unspoken pain—hurt that goes unacknowledged, miscommunication that festers, or trust that gets chipped away over time. Sometimes it’s not one big event, but the slow breakdown caused by unmet needs, feeling unseen, or emotional disconnection. Silence, avoidance, pride, and fear can all create distance where once there was closeness. Bonds often break when pride becomes more important than the relationship.
Restoring a bond takes intentionality—owning your mistakes, listening with humility, and rebuilding trust through consistency and care. It’s choosing to invest in the connection, even when it’s hard. Healing and restoration takes time, patience, and two people willing to show up and do the work.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear of failure has been one of the biggest things that’s held me back. It made me second-guess my readiness and worth, even when I was fully capable. That fear fed an internal narrative that I had to be perfect—or have everything perfected—before I could begin. As a result, I delayed, watered down, or abandoned ideas that had real potential to grow.
It kept me in familiar spaces instead of pushing me toward the kind of opportunities that could have transformed me. For a long time, I saw failure as a reflection of who I was, instead of what it really is: a natural, necessary part of learning, growth, and becoming.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Honesty—its love in action and how you create safety, clarity and depth in the connections you value.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
If I had only 10 years left, I would stop complaining. I’d stop wasting energy on what’s missing or what didn’t go as planned. Instead, I’d shift my focus to what is—what’s beautiful, meaningful, and still unfolding in front of me.
