Hi Jonathan, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
I lose track of time when I am creating, whether its music or a music video or just content for my socials. I lose track of time become I am having fun.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Jonathan Dublin, I go by the name JDU8Z. JDU8Z has been my nick name since I was in 6th grade. Since I was little, I’ve always loved listening to music. On the school bus, my best friend Reggie and I would dance and remix all of the songs that would play on the school bus radio. In 2015, I decided to start making music and have been moving forward ever since. You can take a listen to my music on all music streaming platforms and I have video content on Youtube. For the year of 2025 I have deactivated all of my social medias to work on some new music that I plan on releasing in the year of 2026.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
I think lack of respect breaks the bonds between people. Respect to me, is huge. What can restore the broken bond is accountability and proof of learning from the moments where respect was lost.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
The hard lessons life is teaching you will pay off. It may not seem like it now, but check back at your progress in 5 years. I would also tell myself to look in the mirror and remind myself that Ive gotten far and to keep my chest high.

Being my true authentic self. The people that will love and appreciate it, will never have a problem with it.
