We’re looking forward to introducing you to Jeremy McDonald. Check out our conversation below.
Hi Jeremy, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I start my day with meditation, followed by a walk around the neighborhood. After that, I take a few moments to look over what needs to get done before eating breakfast.
I like to wake up early enough to give myself about 90 minutes that belong entirely to me—a quiet space before all the demands of the day begin.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My brand is about teaching people that they are so much more than who they think they are. It’s about empowering them to look within—to understand what’s happening inside of them.
When we change our inner dynamics, the world around us naturally begins to shift, creating a new and positive paradigm.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was confused for a long time because I had no real connection to who I was on an authentic level. When I finally realized there was a much deeper part of myself and began truly listening to that inner voice and started acting on what that inner voice said then I started to feel a genuine sense of empowerment in my life.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me that everything in life is a choice. I can choose to suffer, or I can choose to rise to the occasion. We never truly escape challenges, but we can always choose to face them with courage and presence.
Each time we overcome a challenge, we gain a deeper sense of pride and accomplishment within ourselves. Through these moments, our inner strength grows, and we begin to develop a true understanding of who we are—building a strong and unshakable sense of self.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
One of the biggest lies I see is the idea that we have to constantly be careful with our words. I don’t agree with that sentiment. This mindset often breeds a sense of toxic positivity.
The alternative is to cultivate self-awareness—to understand who you are emotionally and to recognize the energy moving within you. When you learn to balance and practice that level of inner understanding, your words will naturally align with your truth.
When you are connected to who you truly are, what you speak flows authentically from that alignment.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace at the end of the day, when I take time to simply breathe and reflect on how the day unfolded. I look at the opportunities I had to grow and spend that quiet time connecting with myself.
Having a deep relationship with myself has brought me more peace than I ever could have imagined.
