Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Danielle Lutz of Saint Petersburg, FL

Danielle Lutz shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Danielle, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. When have you felt most loved—and did you believe you deserved it?
My wedding day in September 2024 stands out as a moment where I felt move loved. I was preparing to marry the love of my life, surrounded by family and friends who came together to celebrate and support us. There’s truly no greater feeling than being surrounded by the people you love as you begin a new chapter together.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Danielle! I’m the founder and designer behind Franklin Paper Studio, a luxury wedding stationery company dedicated to capturing each couple’s unique love story. I launched the studio in late 2022 after creating invitations for friends, and what began as a passion project grew into my full-time business by July 2024. I love collaborating with couples to bring their vision to life—transforming their wedding story into beautifully designed paper goods that feel personal, timeless, and unforgettable.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
My relationship with my husband has been one of the most grounding and inspiring parts of my life. Throughout our time together, he’s been my biggest supporter—always believing in me and encouraging me to grow both personally and professionally. Franklin Paper Studio wouldn’t exist without his constant support and confidence in my abilities.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
I like to reframe the idea of suffering as failure. Failure is an inevitable part of life, but I believe we are all meant to succeed in something. Sometimes the first plan doesn’t work out—and sometimes not even the second one. Each setback plays a role in shaping who we are. Those failures build resilience and teach us lessons we may need before discovering what we’re truly meant to do.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, absolutely! I bring my full, authentic self into everything I do. No one wants to work with someone who feels like a robot—our personalities, perspectives, and opinions are what make us unique. I believe leaning into that individuality not only makes collaboration more enjoyable but also leads to more meaningful and creative results.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What will you regret not doing?
I know I would regret not taking the chance. If I hadn’t taken the leap into invitations, I never would have discovered my passion for design and working with clients. As time goes on, my goal is to embrace change and see where the journey leads. I’ll never regret working hard and building something for myself. More than anything, I want to look back one day and say, “I’m so proud I did that”—whether it lasts five years or fifteen.
