Today we’d like to introduce you to Erica C. Rivera.
Hi Erica C., so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been a serial entrepreneur for over 15 years, starting out in the e-commerce space selling everything from fine jewelry to apparel online. Those early years taught me the full spectrum of business — logistics, branding, data, systems, marketing, and the type of resilience you can only learn by building from the ground up.
Fast forward to about four years ago, I stepped into the financial-services industry, and that shifted everything for me. Since then, I’ve helped lead and support well over 150 agents in this space while also securing and educating thousands of individuals and families on the importance of generational wealth, protection, and legacy.
Even though faith was always a part of my life, I’ll be honest — I was living lukewarm for God. It wasn’t until these past few years that everything truly changed. When I surrendered and put God at the forefront of my life and business, doors opened, clarity came, and my purpose became undeniable. That’s when I began coaching others on how to steward business, wealth, and calling God’s way.
Aside from coaching and my financial services agency, I’ve gained a true passion for speaking to women and other entrepreneurs nationwide. I speak heavily on “Wealth & Wisdom” and other topics that align our faith and finances. I also published two books within these past few years— “The P31 Handbook: Faithful & Fulfilled” and “The Women & Wealth Workbook & Financial Planner” — both created to empower women with faith, wisdom, and practical tools for building a strong foundation.
Today, I’m walking boldly in the assignment God gave me: equipping others to build with purpose, lead with integrity, and create generational impact rooted in Kingdom principles.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all — and honestly, I don’t believe obedience ever comes with a smooth road. Walking in what God called me to do meant facing valleys just as often as mountaintops. As a single mom of two, there were seasons where I had to build while broken, lead while learning, and provide while praying for strength I didn’t always feel I had. Entrepreneurship alone is challenging, but entrepreneurship with purpose demands a deeper level of faith, discipline, and surrender.
There were days I questioned the timing, the pressure, and the weight of responsibility. Days where finances, motherhood, business, and healing were all happening at once. But even in the stretching, God kept reminding me that the assignment was never just about me.
I realized I wasn’t called to walk a smooth path — I was called to be a bloodline breaker. The struggles I faced were the very things my children would never have to. The generational ceilings I shattered became their floors. Every sacrifice, every late night, every faith step in the dark was so they could rise higher, dream bigger, and inherit a foundation stronger than the one I started with.
So no, the road has never been easy. But it’s been purposeful. And every challenge has only confirmed that obedience, even when it’s uncomfortable, produces a legacy that outlives you.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My work is rooted in one mission: to help individuals, families, and entrepreneurs build wealth and purpose through Kingdom principles.
I’m the founder of The Kingdom Wealth Group, a financial-services and wealth-coaching organization where we provide life insurance, legacy planning, retirement strategies, annuities, financial education, and business development. I also lead a growing team, equipping them with the systems, training, and mentorship they need to build successful, purpose-driven careers in this industry.
Alongside that, I guide entrepreneurs through coaching programs on building their business, brand, and financial foundation God’s way.
What I’m known for is bridging faith and finance—something the marketplace desperately needs.
A lot of people teach wealth, but very few teach Kingdom stewardship. I help people understand that prosperity is not just about income — it’s about alignment, assignment, and obedience. It’s about building a legacy that outlives you.
What sets me apart is that every service I offer is backed by three things:
Faith: God is at the center of every strategy, every plan, and every decision.
Education: I break down financial concepts so people can finally understand wealth in a simple, empowering way.
Integrity: I will never recommend a product or strategy I wouldn’t put in place for my own family.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the impact — not just the aesthetics or success metrics, but the transformation.
From my two published books — “The P31 Handbook: Faithful & Fulfilled” and “The Women & Wealth Workbook & Financial Planner” — to the thousands of families we’ve helped secure generational wealth, to the entrepreneurs I’ve coached into alignment… the fruit speaks for itself.
For readers, here’s what I want you to know:
My brand isn’t just a business. It’s a ministry in the marketplace.
Whether you work with me through coaching, financial planning, or one of my lifestyle brands, my heart is to help you build a life that honors God, protects your family, and creates generational impact.
I help people build wealth with wisdom, purpose, and Kingdom authority — and I believe everyone has the ability to rewrite the financial future of their bloodline.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Over the next 5–10 years, the financial services industry is going to transform in major ways. We’re moving into a world where technology, personalization, and values-driven guidance will shape how people build and protect wealth. Clients are demanding more clarity, more education, and more alignment — not just transactional products.
We’ll see a significant shift toward digital, data-driven financial strategies, but also a rising need for advisors who bring the one thing technology can’t replace: wisdom, integrity, and human connection. Families are becoming more focused on legacy planning, protection, and generational wealth, especially in uncertain economic times.
What’s exciting is that the industry is also becoming more purpose-driven. People want their finances to align with who they are — their values, faith, and long-term vision. The conversation around wealth is shifting from “How much can I accumulate?” to “How can I build something that lasts?”
That’s exactly where my work sits — at the intersection of faith, education, and intentional wealth-building. As the industry evolves, the leaders who thrive will be those who blend strategy with purpose, innovation with stewardship, and financial expertise with true alignment.
