Today we’d like to introduce you to Artur Kozun.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve been teaching ballroom dancing in Florida since 2018. My clients compete with me at pro am competitions nationally and internationally. Since 2022 I’ve been coaching tennis players, golfers and other athletes on movement using GYROTONIC Method. One of my clients is Gaby Dabrowski tennis doubles Grand Slam Champion and Olympic Bronze Medalist in Paris 2024. I teach dancing at Rhapsody Ballroom in Temple Terrace and GYROTONIC Method at Euro Pilates in New Tampa area.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
An obstacle is always preparing physically and mentally my clients to competitions and help them to deal with stress and stage freight.

Amongst my students there are ballroom US champions and Blackpool Dance Festival medalists, as well as tennis Grand Slam Champions and Olympic Medalists.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My first win at a ballroom dance competition at the age of 7.
