Hi Talida, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m a dual-licensed Electrologist and Aesthetician with extensive experience in the beauty industry. Originally from Romania, I’m the second oldest of 11 siblings and a proud mother to two amazing young adults, Rachael and Jadon. My lifelong passion for beauty, fashion, skin, and wellness has shaped my career and opened doors across the model, talent, and pageantry industries, allowing me to inspire others and showcase inner and outer beauty on a broad scale.
After working in various med spas, I recognized a need for a space that put clients first, focusing on their unique needs over high-pressure sales. This led me to open my own med spa—a welcoming, transparent environment where clients feel genuinely valued, supported, and educated about their skincare. My goal is to build lasting relationships by creating a safe space where clients can confidently embrace their radiance from the inside out.
In addition to my work in skincare, I proudly serve as Model Liaison for QBElite Model & Talent—an international model and talent management group founded by industry veteran Dedra Curtis in Orlando, FL. In this role, I mentor and guide talent within the organization, helping models refine their personal look to succeed in bookings and grow in their careers. Collaborating closely with talent managers, industry professionals, and clients, I ensure seamless project execution and growth opportunities for both emerging and established talent. My work with QBElite strengthens its reputation as ‘The Premier Hive’ of professionalism and artistry in fashion, skincare, wellness, and entertainment.
I’m was also honored to represent my home country of Romania as Mrs. World International Petite, a role that allows me to merge my love for pageantry with my dedication to empowering others. Beyond my career, I’m deeply committed to my community. To bring awareness to my nonprofit organization, ‘No Kids Left Behind,’ I work to support children who are homeless or in orphanages, both in Florida and in Romania. I believe, as Gandhi said, ‘We have to be the change we want to see,’ and I’m committed to keeping ‘No Kids Left Behind’ at the forefront of my efforts. By making a difference in the lives of innocent children and advocating for those in need, I hope to create a lasting impact. This mission, combined with my love for the beauty and fashion industry, defines who I am at my core. For me, ‘Beauty is more than skin deep…it’s about the whole: Mind, Body, and Soul.'”
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Opening Tali’s LUXESKIN Aesthetics was a journey filled with challenges, but my passion for helping others feel beautiful kept me going. Balancing my roles as a mom and business owner while managing the financial and logistical demands of starting a medical spa was intense. Finding the right location in downtown Tampa was a milestone, yet it came with the stress of competing in a saturated market and meeting high regulatory standards for laser hair removal and skincare treatments. My desire to offer exceptional service required endless research and investment in high-quality equipment, but my vision for Tali’s LUXESKIN Aesthetics kept me motivated, pushing me through every obstacle.
