Hi Scott, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
After spending more than a decade in corporate recruiting and training, I noticed a need in the Tampa market for a high-quality resume writing and career services company. In the Fall of 2017, I stepped away from my corporate position and launched Vitae Express.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like every small business owner, not having the scale of resources that large organizations possess has forced me to be creative in many instances. One of the top ways I have been able to scale the business while still delivering an optimal client experience has been through embracing technology. My early adoption of cloud-based, remote work technologies allowed me to not only scale the business but quickly adapt to the changes in the work environment following the onset of COVID-19.

Generally, I do not believe in ‘luck’, I believe in hard work. That said, I am blessed to have an amazing support system that includes my wife, family, friends, and industry peers. This support motivates me to continually strive to be the best businessman possible.
