Hi Jessica, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey started long before Garden of Love Imaging ever opened its doors it began with my passion for ultrasound and a very personal experience that changed my life forever. I’ve worked in the ultrasound field for over 17 years, helping families see their babies for the very first time. But after my daughter experienced a placental abruption and we lost my granddaughter, Jalaïa Nayali, who lived only eight precious days, I felt called to turn my pain into purpose.
Garden of Love Imaging was born from that love and loss. I wanted to create a space where families could not only celebrate life but also feel supported and seen. What started as a small dream has grown into a full-service boutique ultrasound studio offering 2D, 3D, 4D, and 8K imaging and now expanding into diagnostic ultrasound services. My goal has always been to combine compassion with quality care, giving each family an unforgettable and reassuring experience.
Alongside that, I started a nonprofit called Connection of Love, dedicated to supporting mothers and families who have gone through pregnancy or infant loss. Both of my ventures are deeply intertwined they represent healing, hope, and the belief that even through grief, something beautiful can grow.
Today, I’m humbled to say Garden of Love Imaging has been recognized as one of the top imaging studios in the Tampa Bay area. Every baby I scan and every family I meet reminds me why I started to honor my granddaughter’s legacy and bring connection, comfort, and love to others.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but every obstacle has shaped me into the woman and business owner I am today. When I started Garden of Love Imaging, I didn’t have investors or a big team it was just me, my vision, and a deep sense of purpose. Balancing full-time work in healthcare, being a mother, running a business, and grieving the loss of my granddaughter all at once wasn’t easy. There were moments I questioned if I could do it, but faith and perseverance kept me going.
One of the biggest challenges was simply getting people to see the heart behind my business. I wanted Garden of Love Imaging to be more than an ultrasound studio it’s a place of peace, joy, and healing. Building that reputation, earning trust, and maintaining quality while growing was tough, but worth every step.
There were financial struggles, sleepless nights, and seasons where things didn’t go as planned but I never lost sight of why I started. Through every setback, I reminded myself that this wasn’t just a business; it was my granddaughter’s legacy and a space meant to bring comfort and connection to others. Looking back now, I can honestly say the road wasn’t smooth, but it was purposeful and I wouldn’t change it for anything.

What makes us unique is the heart behind every scan our space was created to celebrate life, offer peace of mind, and remind families that this journey is sacred.
What started as a personal mission after the loss of my granddaughter, Jalaïa Nayali, has grown into a brand known for compassion, connection, and care. Every family that walks through our doors is treated like our own. From the warm atmosphere to the lifelike images, we focus on making every moment special. I’m most proud that Garden of Love Imaging is more than a business it’s a legacy of love that continues to honor my granddaughter and uplift families through every heartbeat we capture.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was always the nurturer. I was the one everyone came to for advice, comfort, or a good laugh. I had a big heart, a strong will, and a drive that started young. Even as a kid, I loved helping people and was fascinated by anything to do with babies and healthcare. I think that’s what led me toward ultrasound it combined my love for people, my compassion, and my curiosity about life.
I was also very independent and determined. If I said I was going to do something, I found a way to make it happen. Life didn’t come easy I became a teen mom, and that experience taught me resilience, strength, and the importance of faith. It shaped the woman I am today: someone who doesn’t give up, who leads with heart, and who believes that purpose can grow from even the hardest moments.
Those same qualities I had growing up kindness, determination, and faith are the foundation of everything I do now, both in business and in life.
