Hi Jenn, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I grew up here in Cape Coral, then moved back to Germany for many years where I ran a tourism-driven business in Berlin. I loved it, but I always knew Florida still had a piece of my heart. About 10 years ago, I finally made the decision to come home and start my real estate journey — and it turned out to be one of the best moves I’ve ever made.
I met Bob Ashworth at RE/MAX, and we quickly realized we shared the same values when it comes to serving clients. That’s when we partnered up to form the Bob Ashworth & Jenn Spears Team — making sure every client always gets five-star service, clear communication, and someone who is available when they need us most. Two agents, one goal: a smooth, stress-free experience.
Being fluent in both English and German has also been such a blessing in this market. Cape Coral has a large European community.
Together, we serve Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and the surrounding Southwest Florida areas, specializing in relocation, waterfront properties, and investment opportunities. But at the end of the day, it’s more than real estate for me — it’s helping people feel at home in a place that gave me my own sense of belonging.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Honestly, the beginning wasn’t glamorous. I was starting a completely new career in a competitive market, while learning a complex industry and rebuilding my network from scratch. There were long days, late nights, and plenty of moments where I had to remind myself why I started.
I also quickly learned that success in real estate isn’t just about knowing the market — it’s about being available, adaptable, and putting people first, even during the stressful parts of a transaction.
And of course, juggling being a mom, a business owner, and a Realtor wasn’t always easy — but I think those challenges shaped me into the agent I am now: resourceful, resilient, and someone who genuinely cares.
Every obstacle pushed me to work harder, learn faster, and show up better. And looking back, I wouldn’t trade any of it — because it built the foundation for the business and relationships I have today.

I’m a real estate agent with RE/MAX Realty Team, partnering alongside Bob Ashworth as the Bob Ashworth & Jenn Spears Team, serving Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and Southwest Florida.
What we do is more than just real estate — we guide people through big life moves, help investors find smart opportunities, and welcome families from all over the world to a community we truly love. We specialize in waterfront and pool homes, relocation clients, international buyers, and investment properties, including the growing vacation rental market.
One thing that really sets me apart is my background. I grew up in Cape Coral, moved to Germany for many years where I ran a tourism-based business in Berlin, and then made my way back home 10 years ago to start my real estate career. Because of that, I’m not only fluent in English and German, but I understand both cultures — which makes a huge difference for the many European buyers who choose this area for investment or lifestyle.

I’m most proud of the fact that our business is referral-based, our clients become friends, and our reviews actually reflect who we are. We were also honored to receive the 2025 Quality Business Award for Best Real Estate Agent in Cape Coral, which meant a lot — not because of the title, but because it reflects how we work with people every day.

What makes you happy?
What makes me happiest is connection — with people, with my community, and most of all, with my family.
My daughter is a huge part of my why. Being able to build a life and career that allows me to be present for her, support her, and show her what it looks like to chase goals, work hard, and treat people with kindness — that means everything to me. My family is my grounding point, my motivation, and my biggest joy.
I also genuinely love helping others through major life moments, especially moves that change their whole world. Building trust with people, guiding them through big decisions, and then watching them start their next chapter — it’s incredibly rewarding.
I’m happiest when life feels meaningful —
when I’m growing, helping others, and creating a life my family can be proud of.
The mix of family, purpose, and community is really what fills my cup. I love that I get to raise my daughter in the place I once grew up, show up for my clients every day, and balance a career I’m passionate about with the people I love most.
At the end of the day, happiness for me is pretty simple:
my family, my daughter, helping others, and knowing I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
