We started Bones Coffee Company as a family with a passion for coffee and a mission to inject some flavor into an otherwise boring landscape of coffee companies. As a family full of creative types (artists, musicians, and writers), we knew that we could bring a new and exciting approach to coffee to the masses. We started with flavors like Strawberry Cheesecake and Maple Bacon and pretty quickly discovered that so many people were craving what we were trying to build, even if they didn’t realize it. Now, still family-owned and operated with over 50 amazing employees from our local communities, we’re shipping our products all over the world. It’s been a hell of a journey so far and we can’t wait to see where we can go from here!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Obviously, with the events that have occurred over the last couple of years, we’re right there with everybody else struggling with supply chain issues. Fortunately, we’ve had incredible support from our customers and staff since the very beginning, allowing us to grow at a rapid pace over the last 5+ years. We’ve actually had difficulty keeping up with demand at times, especially during the holiday season!
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Bones Coffee Company specializes in small-batch coffee, which keeps the product fresh and provides the best possible experience to the customer. We’re known for some of the most unique flavors in the industry, but we also take immense pride in the quality of our blends and single-origin coffees. We take steps to make sure our coffee is sourced ethically and sustainably, roasted perfectly, and delivered fresh.
Our focus is on community, sustainability, and providing new and unique experiences to coffee drinkers everywhere! We donate our barrels, burlap sacks, and coffee chaff to a local organization called Echo Farms so they can be repurposed into tools for sustainable farming practices, which can be passed along for generations to come. We also have recently partnered with The Rainforest Alliance, whose focus on the preservation of rainforests, supporting sustainable farming and business practices, human rights, and meeting the challenges of a changing climate aligns perfectly with the goals we set for ourselves as a company.
We’re immensely proud of the product and the steps we take to bring that product to market. No other brand takes flavored coffee to the next level as we do. Our unique flavors, exciting bag art, and our dedication to quality and sustainability really provide a complete experience for your morning cup of coffee. Plus, there’s something for everybody! Regardless of dietary restrictions or allergies, whether you enjoy flavored coffee or exotic single-origins, we’ve got something you’ll love. All of our coffee is sugar-free, vegan & keto-friendly, and also allergen-free. We also have a variety of decaf coffees for those who can’t have or are sensitive to caffeine.

We rock! Literally and figuratively. We’re all about embracing our community. From Cape Coral’s Pride weekend where we served our coffee to the community and highlighted our favorite flavors to Rock The Stage where we partnered with the community to raise money for the Tabarrini Children’s Music Outreach Foundation and provided an avenue to discover some really amazing local talent.
