Today we’d like to introduce you to Khadija Bazzi-Hamdar
Hi Khadija, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Being in the field of special needs has always been my passion! I received my undergrad in Disability Studies, and pursued my Masters in Special Education back in 2022. I always had a passion for working with kids with disabilities, but something always caught my attention about children on the spectrum! Working with kids with autism provided a sense of joy and satisfaction unlike anything I have ever felt. As a mother to three kids, the love and care I felt for each of these children were as if they were my own. Thus, opening an ABA Therapy center for children with autism was the perfect piece to the puzzle! However, unlike any other ABA Therapy center, Success on the Spectrum offered a totally different standard to quality ABA! We have a “parent viewing room” where parents can sit and watch their children receive therapy with full transparency! We offer community outreach events such as Autism Prom and Workshops, and even offer Parent Training every week so parents are able to continue therapy at home with their kids! This standard along with my passion for working with kids with autism is exactly where I want to be in this journey of life!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As with any business, there are always struggles. We are still in the process of growing the business and with the two hurricanes that hit the area, it was a struggle to get the space back to running successfully. However, we have learned as a team that with each knock down, there is an opportunity to grow back stronger! Every experience whether positive or negative is an opportunity for growth.

We are an ABA Therapy franchise with over 45 locations in the United States and we just won the 2024 Top ABA Therapy Provider in the nation. We are the first location to open in Florida here in the heart of Tampa! We service children with autism through scientific based practices, but with a higher standard of care! Success on the Spectrum (SOS) offers community outreach programs (Autism Prom, etc.), we offer quarterly field trips (parks, zoo, children’s museums, etc.), and we offer full-transparency with our Parent-Viewing Room. Parents are able to come in and watch their child receive therapy during our office hours! We are happy to show parents what is going on within our center, and the type of therapy their child will receive. We also provide speech and occupational therapy services at our centers as well!

In both my personal and professional life, I’m dedicated to growth and continuous learning. I regularly turn to resources like Impact Theory and the Joe Rogan Podcast, as they bring in-depth perspectives on resilience, high performance, and personal growth that motivate me to keep developing my skills. I’m also passionate about child development, so I dive into books in that area to deepen my understanding of how to support others’ growth—especially children—as they reach their potential.
Working with a franchise that provides extensive resources for both center and employee support is incredibly beneficial. In addition to what corporate offers, I frequently leverage webinars through Central Reach and Behavior University. These platforms are excellent for ongoing learning, offering webinars and tools that keep me informed on best practices and new approaches. Combining these with my personal interests and development tools helps me stay engaged and at my best, both in life and at work.
