Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I always had a dream of being a mobile groomer. My husband was retiring from the Air Force and we decided it was the right time to pursue my dream. Although not required in Fl, I signed up for a Formal Pet Grooming College and completed all the requirements. We bought our first van, came up with the name and logo, designed a web site and made a few Social Media Pages. We looked at other mobile groomer prices, and decided to make our prices very competitive. Once we launched, it took off! We started having to turn away clients everyday as we were already booked to capacity. This made us decide to expand, not once, not twice, but three times! We now have 2 full grooming units and 2 dedicated bathing units. Our reputation, word of mouth, and great customer reviews have been vital to our success.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not completely, but not too difficult. The biggest issues are the maintenance issues and rising costs of everything. To prevent having down time, we decided to buy another van and now we have an extra one as a spare. Of course weve had a few instances where clients didnt pay their invoice, but thats very rare.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
My entire family! My husband thought i was crazy for wanting to do this…he admits that he was wrong lol. He works with me. My two older daughters also supported this and both of them work for the company as groomers. My youngest daughter also has voiced that she may want to continue the family tradition, although I think she’ll be more likely to do something with horses.
