Today we’d like to introduce you to Angelina Griffin
Hi Angelina, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my journey with a deep passion for helping families protect what matters most to them—their livelihoods, their legacies, and their futures. My career began in the real estate industry, where I witnessed firsthand the challenges many families face when navigating important financial and legal decisions. This experience inspired me to expand my expertise and services.
In 2021 I founded Value Family Legacy with a mission to provide accessible and affordable solutions for families and individuals. I did this with the H-LAW in the center. That’s Health, Love, Awareness and Wealth. It’s my foundation within Hiphop culture. That’s a story for another interview…
Initially, Value Family Legacy’s services focused on life insurance, then it evolved where my mobile and remote online notary public work and legal document preparation services were in demand. In 2024, I added paternity DNA testing. And in 2025, courier services were added to streamline the delivery and filing of critical legal and health-related documents.
I even offer wedding officiant services to make the marriage process seamless for couples, as a Notary Public and marriage minister.
What drives me is the belief that everyone deserves access to professional support without unnecessary stress or expense. My work is mobile and remote, allowing me to meet clients where they are, literally and figuratively, as they navigate significant milestones in their lives.
Every step of my journey has been about building trust and offering peace of mind to families, ensuring they can protect and preserve their legacies for generations to come.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road to building Value Family Legacy has been both challenging and rewarding. My faith in God has kept me focused and motivated.
In 2021, I transitioned from Maryland, where I worked as a real estate and life insurance agent, to Florida, where I started Value Family Legacy. It was a significant change—moving to a new state, leaving behind an established network, and building something entirely new from the ground up. I did this once before when i moved from Atlanta to Maryland, so I knew it was possible. I didn’t know many people professionally when I arrived, so I had to step out of my comfort zone, embrace new opportunities, and actively cultivate relationships within my community… Thanks to BNI.
Plus, I still work my full time job while building Value Family Legacy.
Each year has brought new challenges and growth. In 2024, we added paternity DNA testing services through Legacy Paternity. We also opened our St. Petersburg office in 2023 but closed it in 2024 seeing that most of our service requests were mobile.
In 2025, we introduced courier services to better meet the demands of our clients. These additions reflect my commitment to evaluating the needs of our target demographic and providing meaningful solutions. Being open to change and focused on growth has allowed me to address real-world needs for families and individuals, ensuring that Value Family Legacy remains relevant and impactful.
The most rewarding part of this journey has been witnessing the trust my clients place in my services and building a brand that truly helps people navigate and address critical moments in their lives. Each challenge has been a stepping stone toward creating a legacy of support, accessibility, and empowerment. I really love what I do.
As you know, we’re big fans of Value Family Legacy, LLC and Legacy Paternity. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Value Family Legacy was created with my family in mind as well as helping families and the underdog small business owner protect their livelihoods and legacy.
But ultimately. I want to be able to hire my family members as we retire from our day jobs year over year. It’s a dream but… why not?!
I’m most proud that I know I’m truly helping people to protect themselves, and advocate for love.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
This is a hard question to answer as I am still learning. But so far, I’ve met some great people that I’ve done business with.
After moving here, I couldn’t seem to connect the dots and build relationships with other professionals that look like me, at least not as easily like in ATL and the DMV. So I created my own virtual meet up, which has been great because from that, I’m developing my tribe.
