Exploring Life & Business with Dr AJ Rubano of Total Vitality Medical Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. AJ Rubano

Dr. Rubano, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Total Vitality Medical Group was founded approximately 25 years ago by Dr. Brian Wolstein. In 2015 Dr. Wolstein convinced me to exit my practice in Ft Myers and since that time, we’ve worked together to grow Total Vitality from five locations to 15 locations throughout Florida. Our working philosophy is to treat others the way we want to be treated and to do things other offices don’t, such as providing Saturday and late evening appointments as well as making our cell phones available to our patients and their advisors.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest challenges are in identifying other team members who adopt our mantra. We have had to weed out practitioners and support staff who don’t want to go the extra mile when it comes to caring for our patients.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
We are multi-disciplinary health practices that incorporate Medical care, chiropractic, and physical therapy. The niche we have excelled at is the care of people injured in car and motorcycle accidents as well as slip and fall injuries. We find the types of injuries in this area of practice responds well to our method of adjusting, stretching and strengthening activities. I’m proud that we are the first choice of many physicians and legal advisors for themselves and family members when they suffer personal injuries.. in addition, we also help people with anti aging treatments such as hormone replacement and primary medical care.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Wanting to make every person we see feel special The understanding that it is easier to succeed with a team than as an individual Persistence: never giving up when things don’t go as expected.

I just want to say I appreciate what you do, it’s practically a beautiful way to give back and help people at the same time.My mom had a major stroke just before the pandemic happened last year in March 2020, it’s really been a long and hard task for her recovery. Physical therapy and speech therapy is a must for her. Someone comes twice a week for her care but personally I don’t think it’s enough it’s only considered to be safe at this point. Just wanted to share maybe you can give a little guidance I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again for all you do may God continue to bless you and your family. Stay safe my friend 🙏
