Hi Miguel, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve been passionate about drawing since childhood, growing up in New York. When I moved to Tampa at 15, I didn’t know many people, so I focused heavily on honing my craft. Over time, I started building a name for myself, expanding into designing clothing, album covers, paintings, and brand identities for businesses. Around 18, I made a personal commitment to God that I would dedicate my life to creativity. Since then, I’ve stayed true to that promise—whether I’m creating for myself or bringing ideas to life for others.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. But I see every challenge as a test of my commitment to the craft. There were times when I questioned whether it was even worth pursuing—dealing with issues like clients undervaluing my work, struggling with my artistic growth, or feeling like I wasn’t getting the recognition I hoped for. But through it all, I’ve learned to trust the process and believe that God’s timing is always perfect.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a creator at heart—that’s my specialty. I have a deep passion for designing logos and developing visual identities for businesses. I’m also known for my work as an illustrator, painter, and designer. Recently, I’ve been focusing on custom-painted hats, which have been incredibly well-received by the public. What I’m most proud of is my dedication to constantly improving my craft and pushing my creative boundaries.
