Today we’d like to introduce you to Lucia Abarca.
Hi Lucia, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I’m from Costa Rica, I come from a small family and since little I’ve always liked to read and journal because it was the only way I could cope, and without knowing my life stories could have a purpose.
And when I became an adult, I kept going through very difficult particular situations but my instinct always told me this was happening to me for a reason.
In 2016, I came to live in the United States with an unknown purpose that soon enough destiny would give to me; and it was to go through atrocious circumstances written in the book Valió La Pena Encontrarme Sino Que Sería de Mi.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road because of various circumstances like being Hispanic trying to learn English, being a mom and dad of 4 kids, trying to juggle work and writing, and becoming a writer isn’t a very easy career is more of a hobby than a job.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m an author and writer and besides that, I’m an astrologist, and right now I’m very excited because soon I will obtain my realtor license I’m working hard so that before this year ends my second book can be released that is focused on women of high value.
I specialize in writing and I’m known for being a writer too. And I’m most proud of my book because it has helped a lot of people.
What sets me apart from the others is that the life experiences I’ve written about are real and not fantasy and helps that the person that is reading my book feels more identified with the characters or situations in my book.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I’ve been trying to think about this question a lot but I honestly don’t have one.
