From Teenage Dream to Lasting Legacy: The Story of Celestial Academy & Aesthetics
My journey into the world of medical aesthetics began at just 18 years old, a path sparked by a passion ignited much earlier. In high school, I found my joy in the transformative power of makeup artistry. It wasn’t long before that fascination motivated me to dive deeper, pushing me to enroll in aesthetics school and truly understand the science and artistry behind beautiful skin.
From the very beginning, Celestial Skin and Beauty was more than just a business; it was built on a foundation of faith. It branched directly from my family’s ministry, Celestial Inspirations, a mission dedicated to helping others. This spirit of service became the bedrock of my practice.
In 2019, I embarked on the exciting journey of becoming a solo owner. For nearly five years, I poured my heart into establishing myself and my business, serving so many wonderful clients. Their trust and loyalty fueled my passion, motivating me to expand my services and even host workshops. Then came 2020, and with it, the global pandemic. Covid-19 nearly forced us to shut our doors, but the incredible support of our community held us high. Through the grace of God, clients came from all over, helping us weather the storm.
The challenges continued into 2021 with personal losses that compelled me to truly dedicate time to my family. Then, in 2022, tragedy struck again with the devastating loss of my father in a tragic accident. It was an incredibly dark time, but once again, my Celestial clients rallied around me, their unwavering support uplifting the business and me through one of the hardest periods of my life.
Soon after my father’s passing, I received the most precious blessing: the pregnancy of my baby girl. Her arrival was a profound turning point. She taught me that while having a successful business was wonderful, starting a legacy was infinitely more important. In 2023, I made the difficult decision to close the doors of Celestial Skin and Beauty in Land O’ Lakes, embracing eight months of dedicated motherhood.
After five amazing months of caring for my daughter full-time, a new vision emerged. I reopened my establishment in the vibrant Tampa Bay area, rebranding and evolving. From Celestial Skin and Beauty was born Celestial Academy and Aesthetics. This new chapter allows me to not only continue offering exceptional services, but also to teach my knowledge to professionals eager to expand their education. Whether it’s guiding them to open their own businesses or helping them master techniques that will land them their dream jobs, my mission is now to empower the next generation of aestheticians.

My journey to establishing Celestial Academy and Aesthetics has been marked by significant obstacles. As a solo owner, navigating the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, truly tested my resilience to its limits. This was followed by a period of personal losses in 2021, demanding a difficult re-prioritization of family time. The most profound challenge arrived in 2022 with the tragic loss of my father, a devastating period where managing the business felt nearly impossible. Then, after welcoming my daughter, I faced the major decision to temporarily shut down my Land O’ Lakes business for eight months to fully embrace motherhood, stepping away from an established practice to honor a new life stage. When I decided to open in a whole new location ,it almost felt as though I was starting at square one. Each of these moments required immense strength, adaptability, and unwavering faith to overcome.
