Hi Zero, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
FOR3ST HILLS started as a passion project, designed to share a message to those who needed to hear it most – that you’re not alone, no matter who you are, or what you’re going through. Our band is oriented on mental health advocacy, and resonating with others who may be struggling with their past or present.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We’ve had many road bumps along the way. From changing band members, to moving between states, to near-death experiences, we’ve seen it all. In a way, these experiences have made us grow into better musicians; giving us more things to write about and relate to.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
FOR3ST HILLS creates alternative rock music that pulls influence from the many branches of rock and metal. We aren’t a singular sound, but pride ourselves on having variety and limitlessness in the music we create. Our band is most proud of our resilience and ability to keep creating music no matter what life throws at us.
What sets us apart from other bands is our community. Our fans are like no other – they are incredible people who support us at every turn, and with every chance they get. From telling others about our music, to requesting our songs at their local radio station, we are truly blessed to have a growing fanbase that wants to see us succeed.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Determination has been the most important trait that’s kept our band going. Despite all the road bumps and things that have happened, we’ve never stopped creating music. Even during times where our instruments were destroyed or gear was unavailable, we’ve always found a way to come back and make something even bigger and better than ever before. Whether you want to call it determination, resilience, stubbornness, or just pure spite; our band has a fire keeping us moving forward.
