Conversations with Nitza Lozano

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nitza Lozano.

Hi Nitza, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was born in Lima, Peru, and grew up speaking both Spanish and English fluently. From an early age, I was fascinated by different cultures, travel, and storytelling, which ultimately shaped the path I’m on today.

My journey into content creation wasn’t something I initially planned as a career. I’ve always enjoyed capturing experiences through photos and videos, especially while traveling, but it started as a creative hobby rather than a business. Over time, I realized how powerful authentic storytelling can be in helping people connect with brands, destinations, and experiences.

When I discovered the world of content creation and UGC (user-generated content), everything clicked. I saw an opportunity to combine my creativity, love for travel, and marketing skills into something meaningful. Like many creators, I started from scratch, learning how to film, edit, build a portfolio, pitch brands, and navigate the business side of the industry.

The journey hasn’t always been easy, but through consistency, continuous learning, and a willingness to put myself out there, I began landing collaborations with brands and creating content that helps them connect with their audiences in a genuine way.

Today, I work as a content creator and UGC creator, collaborating with brands across travel, lifestyle, and consumer products. One of the things I value most is the ability to connect with diverse audiences through authentic storytelling, and being bilingual allows me to create content and build relationships in both English and Spanish-speaking markets.

Looking back, what started as a passion for documenting experiences has evolved into a career that allows me to combine creativity, entrepreneurship, and cultural connection every day.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not. Like most entrepreneurial journeys, there have been plenty of challenges along the way.
One of the biggest struggles in the beginning was dealing with uncertainty. When you’re building something from scratch, there isn’t a guaranteed roadmap. I had to learn new skills, put myself out there, pitch brands, handle rejection, and stay consistent even when results weren’t immediate.

There were times when I questioned whether I was on the right path, especially when opportunities felt slow or when I compared myself to creators who seemed much further ahead. Learning to focus on my own journey instead of someone else’s was a huge lesson.

Another challenge was balancing creativity with the business side of content creation. It’s one thing to create content you enjoy, but it’s another to learn how to negotiate partnerships, manage clients, market yourself, and run everything like a business.

That said, every challenge taught me something valuable. The setbacks helped me become more resilient, more confident, and more intentional about the opportunities I pursue. Looking back, I’m grateful for those difficult moments because they pushed me to grow both professionally and personally.

I’ve learned that success rarely happens overnight. It’s usually the result of showing up consistently, being willing to adapt, and continuing to move forward even when things don’t go exactly as planned.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a content creator and UGC creator specializing in travel, lifestyle, hospitality, and consumer brands. I create authentic, story-driven content that helps brands connect with their audiences in a genuine and relatable way.

Born in Lima, Peru, and fluent in both English and Spanish, I’m able to create content for diverse audiences and bring a multicultural perspective to my work. I love combining creativity with strategy, ensuring that the content not only looks great but also helps brands achieve their goals.

What I’m most proud of is building a career around storytelling, travel, and meaningful partnerships. Every opportunity has come from continuously learning, stepping outside my comfort zone, and staying committed to my craft.

What sets me apart is my ability to create content that feels both authentic and intentional. I focus on telling stories that inspire trust, spark curiosity, and create a genuine connection between brands and their audiences.

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is living a life with purpose, freedom, and meaningful connections. I value the ability to create a career that aligns with who I am while having the flexibility to explore new places, experience different cultures, and spend time with the people I care about.

I also believe deeply in growth—both personal and professional. Some of the most rewarding moments in my life have come from stepping outside my comfort zone, taking risks, and embracing new opportunities.

At the heart of everything I do is connection. Whether it’s through content creation, travel, or everyday interactions, I love bringing people together through stories and experiences that inspire, educate, or create a positive impact.
