Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story is a special one. After the loss of my husband Joshua, Saadi’s son, life changed in every way. Through that grief, we leaned on our faith and on each other, trusting that God would guide us through.
Saadi came to me with this beautiful idea, and by the grace of God, everything began to fall into place. We now work side by side her with Threading by Saadi and me with Graceful Glow by Maria. What started as two women navigating loss has turned into something truly meaningful.
It’s been a journey of healing, faith, and purpose a reminder that even in the hardest moments, God can create something beautiful.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Starting over while still navigating grief was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. There were days when it felt impossible to balance the emotional weight of loss with the focus and energy needed to build a business.
Saadi and I both had to find strength in our faith and in each other. Learning to move forward while honoring Joshua’s memory was a delicate balance, but through prayer, patience, and perseverance, we’ve continued to grow. Every challenge has shaped us into who we are today, more grounded, grateful, and passionate about the work we do
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in Russian manicures and pedicures a meticulous, detailed technique that focuses on the health and beauty of natural nails. My goal has always been to create a calm, elevated experience where clients feel cared for, confident, and renewed.
What sets my work apart is the precision and passion I pour into every service. I truly believe beauty starts with care, and every detail matters. For me, it’s not just about nails it’s about connection, trust, and creating a space where women can feel restored inside and out. I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve built and the clients who’ve become like family. This journey has been one of purpose and faith, and I’m grateful every day to do what I love while honoring God’s grace through my work.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
None of this would have been possible without the people God placed in my life along the way. First and foremost, I have to give credit to Saadi her strength, faith, and vision have been a constant source of encouragement and inspiration. Together we’ve supported one another through both the hardest and most beautiful moments of this journey. My son Josiah also deserves so much recognition; he has been my greatest motivation and reminder of why I keep moving forward. His love, joy, and resilience have brought light into every part of this process and given me the strength to turn pain into purpose. Our clients have also played a huge role in our success their trust, loyalty, and kind words have helped Graceful Glow by Maria and Threading by Saadi grow into what they are today. Above all, I give thanks to God for His guidance and grace through every step of this journey.
