Hi Jourdan, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Jourdan Frost- Music Artist/Performer Bio
Energetic, Charismatic, and Skillfully Talented are just a few adjectives that describe the Jacksonville, Fl born Singer, Songwriter, and Dancer Jourdan Frost. Jourdan was born in Jacksonville, FL and as a 90s baby grew up with huge R&B and Gospel influences. As a child, Jourdan sang in church and often performed in school events and pageants.
Later, during college years, Jourdan explored the night scene of the LGBTQ+ club circuit and developed a stage characher that was feminine, bold, sexy, and seductive embodying styles of music and dance such as Electronic Dance, Pop, Disco, Afrobeat, and Latin Fusion.
In 2014 Jourdan recorded and released their first EP entitled “Element” which gained local buzz and the attention of many LGBTQ fans and supporters. Since then, Jourdan has performed at Pride based and local talent events in cities such as D.C., Charleston, Miami, Atlanta, Orlando, Jacksonville, and Tampa, FL.
In Summer of 2022, Jourdan competed in the Discovery Spotlight National Talent Expo in Charleston, SC which hosted contestants of all ages from around the country and took home the award for Best Adult Vocalist. Jourdan released a second EP entitled “Beginning” at the top of 2024. Later that same year, Jourdan signed with LGBTQIA recording label, So Fierce Music.
In 2025, Jourdan released 2 singles under So Fierce Music, a dance record entitled House Party and in the Fall of 2025, a Pop/Rock mid-tempo ballad about mourning the loss of a relationship entitled “Can We Pretend”.
Presently, Jourdan just filmed the accompanying music video for “Can We Pretend” and is slated to be released in the Spring of 2026. Jourdan is preparing to continue to release new music, hit the 2026 Pride circuit and ultimately has aspirations of being a triple threat entertainer: Singer/Dancer/Actor.
