Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Wolf.
Hi Taylor, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I became a dietitian because I’ve always been fascinated by the connection between food and health, not just how we look, but how we feel and function every day. Early in my career, I worked in clinical settings (mainly hospitals), supporting individuals managing complex conditions like head and neck cancer, heart failure, kidney disease, diabetes, and more. That experience gave me a deep understanding of how powerful medical nutrition therapy can be when it’s used intentionally and strategically.
Over time, I noticed a common theme with many of my patients. They felt overwhelmed, confused, or discouraged when it came to their health and nutrition. They were trying their best, but they didn’t have clear, personalized guidance. That’s what ultimately led me to open my private practice here in Lakeland.
Today, I specialize in weight loss and metabolic health, including supporting individuals using GLP-1 medications. My goal isn’t just helping clients lose weight, it’s helping them build sustainable habits, manage symptoms, prevent chronic disease, and feel confident in their choices long term. I work exclusively one-on-one so each person receives individualized support tailored to their lifestyle, medical history, and goals.
Opening my own practice has allowed me to combine clinical expertise with a more personal, relationship-based approach and that’s where I’ve seen the most meaningful transformations happen.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road and I think that’s true for most entrepreneurs in healthcare.
Transitioning from a traditional clinical setting into private practice came with a learning curve. In the hospital, I focused solely on patient care. When I opened my own practice, I suddenly had to learn marketing, networking, insurance processes, business systems, and community outreach. All while continuing to provide high-quality care.
There have been moments of uncertainty, especially in the beginning, when you’re building something from the ground up and trusting that the right clients will find you. But each challenge forced me to grow and not just as a business owner, but as a clinician and leader.
What I’ve learned is that building a practice requires the same thing I teach my clients: consistency, patience, and a long-term mindset. Sustainable growth, whether in health or business, doesn’t happen overnight. It’s built through small, intentional steps.
Those challenges have ultimately made my practice stronger and more focused. They’ve helped me clarify exactly who I serve and how I can create the most impact in our community.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Branch and Vine Nutrition, LLC?
I am the founder of Branch and Vine Nutrition, LLC, a private nutrition practice based in Lakeland serving individuals throughout Central Florida. I provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and individualized nutrition coaching with a specialty in weight loss, metabolic health, and chronic disease prevention.
What sets my practice apart is that my approach is rooted entirely in evidence-based research and clinical expertise. As a Registered Dietitian, my care goes far beyond general nutrition advice. In our sessions, we review lab work, medications, medical history, and long-term health goals to create a plan that is medically informed and fully individualized. No two clients receive the same strategy and every recommendation is tailored specifically to my client’s physiology, lifestyle, and goals.
Because I am a licensed dietitian, my services are often covered by insurance, making high-level nutrition care more accessible. I utilize proven methods grounded in science and behavior change to help clients not only lose weight, but build sustainable habits that support long-term metabolic health and disease prevention.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud that Branch and Vine Nutrition represents steady, sustainable growth. Just like a vine grows intentionally over time, real health transformation happens through consistent, strategic steps and not extremes. My goal is for clients to feel empowered, educated, and confident in their choices rather than restricted or overwhelmed.
At the end of the day, I want everyone to know that nutrition doesn’t have to be confusing. With the right guidance, it can feel clear, supportive, and completely tailored to you.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
If there’s one thing I’d want readers to know, it’s that you don’t have to navigate your health alone. There is so much conflicting information online, and it can feel overwhelming trying to figure out what’s right for your body.
Whether someone is working to lose weight, manage a chronic condition, improve lab markers, or simply feel more confident in their habits, having personalized, medically-informed guidance can make all the difference. Small, strategic changes (when done consistently) truly do create lasting results.
I also want people to know that nutrition counseling is often covered by insurance, which surprises many individuals. Access to qualified, evidence-based nutrition care is more attainable than most realize.
My heart behind Branch and Vine is simple: to help people feel empowered, educated, and supported as they build long-term health, not quick fixes.
