Hi Otto, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
After seven years working for BMW Germany and numerous training courses and further education programs, it was my dream to run my own workshop. My wife and I traveled throughout the USA and fell in love with the country and its people, which is why we decided to realize this dream in Florida. Since the previous owner retired, we took over Elite Diesel Plus and are now here. We combine German precision with high-quality American workmanship. In addition to diesel and truck services, we now also offer work on European vehicles.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It is not easy to find a suitable workshop, and the visa process is also lengthy and extremely nerve-wracking.
You have to prove yourself every day and show customers and team what you’re capable of.

As our business grew, so did the needs of our community. Over the past six months, we expanded our services to include a full car repair division, allowing us to bring the same expertise and dependable service to passenger vehicles.
Operated by a German owner with extensive experience in European vehicles, Elite Diesel Plus combines precision, technical skill, and a passion for automotive excellence. Our team includes specially trained technicians with experience across all types of vehicles, working on both diesel and gasoline engines.
