Christine Lord on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We recently had the chance to connect with Christine Lord and have shared our conversation below.

Good morning Christine, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
I am being called to own myself in a way I never have. I have always been strong, capable, and deeply committed, both personally and professionally, but this season is asking me to step forward with a different level of certainty. Not because I lacked the ability before, but because I am finally giving myself permission to stand in the fullness of who I am.
I am being called to trust my voice, to honor my intuition, and to show up without softening my edges to make others comfortable. I am ready to take on the projects I once kept tucked inside as dreams not because I doubted my capability but because the timing was not aligned with the woman I was becoming.
Now I feel aligned. Confident. Grounded. I am stepping into my power as a female owner, a leader, and a creator with a clear sense of who I am and what I bring. This next chapter is not about becoming someone new. It is about finally embracing the woman I have always been.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
y name is Christine Lord and I am the founder and CEO of Luxure Lifestyle, a concierge design and estate management company built on precision, intention, and the belief that luxury should feel effortless. I created this brand from years of hands-on experience designing, renovating, organizing, and elevating homes to a level that fully reflects the people who live in them.
What makes Luxure Lifestyle different is the way we approach every project. We blend high-end design with white glove execution, and we treat each home as if it were our own. My work is deeply intuitive. I listen to what a client wants but also to what their space is asking for. Luxury is never just about finishes or aesthetics. It is about care. It is about feeling supported. It is about creating environments that allow people to live beautifully and with ease.
My personal story is woven into this business. I have rebuilt myself more than once, and the same way I transform spaces, I have transformed my own life. That journey taught me to trust my vision, to use my voice, and to create a company that stands firmly in excellence, integrity, and intention.
Today Luxure Lifestyle focuses on home design and renovation, full-home outfitting, custom closets and garages, estate services, and concierge-level support for clients who want high-touch care. We are expanding into builder partnerships, membership tiers, and a new retail and design direction that brings a more elevated, curated experience to Naples.
I want readers to know this. Luxure Lifestyle is not just a service. It is a standard. It is the way I believe luxury should feel. Seamless. Thoughtful. Warm. And unmistakably personal.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My transformation began long before Luxure Lifestyle ever existed and Michelle was a huge part of that. She helped me step into the woman I was always meant to be. She encouraged my growth, challenged me to believe in my own vision, and supported me through both the personal and professional shifts that brought me here. Her confidence in me strengthened the confidence I was still building in myself.
Today she owns Nu You Naples, where she helps others step into their own alignment and transformation in the same way she once guided me. Her work is rooted in growth, clarity, and becoming. What she did for me changed the trajectory of my life. She helped me see myself clearly so I could rise into who I am now.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
This year became the clearest definition of that lesson for me, both personally and professionally. I shed so much that no longer served me. I faced failures that humbled me. I experienced relationships ending that I once held close. None of it was easy and yet all of it was necessary.
Suffering stripped away every illusion. It showed me who I was when nothing was polished. It revealed who was truly there for me, who could hold space for my growth, and who could not. It forced me to stand on my own foundation and reconnect to my strength in a way success never required.
Success celebrates you. Suffering shapes you. It taught me more about my purpose, my dream, and the woman I am becoming than any achievement ever has. It clarified what matters, what I want, what I will no longer allow, and how deeply committed I am to building the life and business that align with my truth.
This year broke me open but it also rebuilt me. And I am stronger, clearer, and more grounded because of it.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief you used to hold tightly but now think was naive or wrong?
I used to believe that making decisions quickly was a sign of strength and leadership. I thought momentum came from speed and that acting fast meant I was moving forward. Now I see how naive that was.
This past year taught me the value of slowing down. Intentional decisions, thoughtful planning, and clear boundaries create far better outcomes than any form of instant gratification ever could. Taking time to build systems, SOPs, checks and balances, and a structure that truly supports the long term is not hesitation. It is maturity. It is wisdom. It is alignment.
And the same is true in my personal life. Slowing down has helped me choose relationships, connections, and environments that match who I am becoming rather than who I used to be. I am learning that clarity comes from space and that alignment shows up when I stop rushing and start listening to myself.
Choosing with intention has changed everything for me. It feels like the strongest and most grounded version of myself yet.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
Without question. I have reached a place in my life where my own pride, my own standards, and my own internal approval matter more than any external validation. Coming home to myself has been the greatest shift. I know the quality of my work. I know the integrity I bring. I know the effort, intention, and heart I put into everything I touch.
Praise is beautiful, but it is not the reason I show up the way I do. I do it because it reflects who I am. I do it because it feels right in my soul. And I do it because living in alignment with my own excellence will always mean more than anyone else’s recognition.
