Check Out Katarina Tifft’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Katarina Tifft.

Katarina Tifft

Hi Katarina, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
Well, my story is still unfolding but it’s all about my love for art and how I found something I’m truly passionate about. It all began as a hobby, then life presented an opportunity, and I grabbed it with both hands and jumped into the world of art as a business. I really love what I do.

My story is still being written, and I can’t wait to see where my art will take me next. Every artwork, every challenge, and every chance to create is adding more pages to this creative adventure I’m on.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Of course, there are some challenges that are tough, but I see them as opportunities to learn and grow. One of these challenges was establishing my art as a business. Balancing the creative side with the practical aspects of entrepreneurship was a learning curve. I had to develop not only my artistic skills but also my business acumen.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Sure. So, I specialize in creating bespoke artwork using seashells as my primary medium. I’m known for my intricate and imaginative seashell artworks called Shellscapes. I think what I’m most proud of is how my art has evolved from a personal exploration to a thriving business. It’s incredibly gratifying to see people connect with my work.

In a nutshell, my art is a blend of creativity and craftsmanship, and it’s my dedication to growth and personal connection that makes my work stand out in a unique and inspiring way.

What makes you happy?
There are a lot of things that make me happy. It can be the look on people’s faces when they see one of my artworks and go, ‘Wow, you made that?’ – now that’s art-induced happiness. But happiness is also spending time my family, and good food, oh, and nothing beats the joy of finding money in a jacket I haven’t worn in months.
