Hi Irma, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
After having my first baby, I decided not to return to work so that I could be a stay at home mom and be with my son full time. During the first few months of that, I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my free time, but I’ve always been a creative person! That’s when I decided to post a few videos on instagram just to see how they’d do and after receiving so much positive feedback I decided I’d become a content creator. One year later and it’s what I love to do!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
For me personally, it’s been a smooth road. I’ve had amazing opportunities to work with really cool brands.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a small influencer on Instagram and Tik Tok. I film beauty, skincare, fashion, and lifestyle content. What I’m most proud of is the small community I’ve built on my platforms. I love my girls and the support they show me every single time! I’m also proud of myself, I’ve always been an introvert and would shy away from being on camera. Now, I’ve learned to put myself out there and to feel comfortable with being uncomfortable. That’s what makes it fun!
What’s next?
I’d love further my social media and digital marketing skills by working for any brands in the beauty industry! Who knows, maybe one day I’ll open up a PR agency. I guess you’ll have to wait and see!
